So, I've been trawling D&D Tiktok compilations on Youtube, and when I was watching the Journey Pack deal by Quincy's Tavern (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5in0AzZ3BXI&t=769s), the gift item of a Deck of Many Things made me wonder: What spells would be needed to make a fake Deck of Many Things?
To clarify, it wouldn't be a real Deck of Many Things: Namely, it'd be copying the idea of 'when a card is drawn, a magical effect happens'. I'd consider the idea of dimensionally sealed Glyphs of Warding to make it happen, but it doesn't make sense due to the glyphs losing power when moved from their creation site. Maybe small Spell Scrolls that activate when removed?
Any ideas you guys have to make it happen would help a lot, because it may or may not be an idea for a side-business my wizard character uses.;)
Look forward to hearing what you guys have to suggest.
