I thought it woul dbe a cool idea to have an entire subclass based on a single utility spell: Fabricate. my initial thought was to make it a Artificer subclass. the idea was to give the player a toned down version of Fabricate that would be available at Level one as an at-will spell but deny the player any and all other spells. (unless gained through another class) around the time other players get Fabricate (lvl 8 or lvl 9) the subclass would get full at will access to the spell and at high lvls the mastery of that single spell would let the subclass grow beyond the usual bounds of fabricate and be able to create magical items as well.
DndBeyond is fairly limiting, concerning the restrictions that would be placed on this class. so i am not finished creating it.
Another cool idea may be to make this an entirely seperate class and have it specialize on one utility spell with each subclass. Imagine how creative you would have to be if you only had access to one single spell.

So this would be a martial class?
A good book and a cup of tea.

It would be a martial class witht he exception of having specialized in fabricate. planning on adding some limited use instant casts for fabricate.
fabricate + animate objects + awaken ?
