Does anyone who uses Avrae (the Discord D&D bot for importing characters, rolling attacks etc.) know if there's a way to hide text on homebrew magic weapons from Avrae?
I'm working on some artefact weapons for a campaign and between flavour text and details on multiple effects, weapon sentience, etc. some of them can end up with a pretty hefty amount of text in their description. This wouldn't be a problem except when the character sheet is imported to Avrae the full text of a weapon's description is printed to chat every single time you attack with that weapon.
I'm curious if anyone's found a way to hide parts of a weapon's text from Avrae? I've experimented with a couple of things that didn't seem to work but Avrae can fall afoul of the same caching issues D&D Beyond does so it's a slow thing to test; only alternative I can think of is creating the weapons as both a weapon and a wonderous item, with the former containing only the most basic description, and the latter containing the full unabridged item description.
Former D&D Beyond Customer of six years: With the axing of piecemeal purchasing, lack of meaningful development, and toxic moderation the site isn't worth paying for anymore. I remain a free user only until my groups are done migrating from DDB, and if necessary D&D, after which I'm done. There are better systems owned by better companies out there.
I have unsubscribed from all topics and will not reply to messages. My homebrew is now 100% unsupported.

ive found putting any description at all can be pretty unhidable, even the exandria weapons tend to just have a large amount of text just due to how its coded, though id suggest going to the avrea discord and looking around, they might have someone whose made a snippet for it
