I made a new homebrew subclass for a homebrew class based on hollow knight. It's third level feature is giving all non-heavy, one handed weapons a short thrown range, then they come back to you. Then the new barbarian subclass comes. My brother is saying that my homebrew is now basically unusable, and that since the new official subclass will be tested, no one will allow mine, and that I should just use the official stuff. Is this true? Will this actually be what happens?

Why would a homebrew subclass of a homebrew class (which you wouldn't be able to create on this site as homebrew since we can't homebrew classes here, so it's not like this is a publishing issue) be invalidated by a resemblance to a single feature of a Barbarian subclass?

Because mine has never been used, and I have no clue weather it's over powered, underpowered, or good. It also is harder to approve homebrew than just use the official stuff
