I know every new adventuring party can't wait until they get their hands on the obligatory bag of holding. I wanted to do something a little different and hopefully creative. I think it's a pretty balanced item. It is very similar to other items in the game and is basically a good tool for a DM that wants a bag of holding that is less powerful. I will definitely add this.

Edit: also I think its better written then a lot of hombrew. It's easy to understand and matches the language of official D&D
