In short I've never been a fan of warlocks being an cantrip blaster that's limited to just using a single cantrip for all warlocks. Whenever I've made a warlock, I've usually just changed the damage type to an appropriate damage type that corresponds with my patron. I've decided to take this one step one step further and make cantrips that can compete with the OG cantrip that are tied to each of the subclasses (expect hexblade since I feel that one doesn't need a special eb alternative). Let me know what you think of these alternatives:
You conjure a mysterious mist from the fey wilds that envelopes and distorts a creature. Choose a creature that you can see within range to make a Wisdom saving throw or take 1d8 psychic damage and teleport 5 feet in a random direction. Roll a d4 for the direction: 1, north; 2, south; 3, east; or 4, west. If the rolled direction is blocked or occupied by another creature, the target does not teleport to the new location. This spell counts as eldritch blast for any option or enhancement that applies to the eldritch blast spell such as the warlock's eldritch invocations.
The spell creates more than one mist when you reach higher levels: two mists at 5th level, three mists at 11th level, and four mists at 17th level. You can direct the mists at the same target or at different ones. Each creature must make separate saving throw for each mists. If a creature fails consecutive saving throws, they do not teleport an additional time, but the teleport distance increases by 5 feet for each failed saving throw.
You hurl a spear of radiant energy at a creature that you can see within range. On a hit, the creature takes 1d8 radiant damage. If you hit a creature with this spell, until the start of your next turn you can add 1d4 to your next saving throw. This spell counts as eldritch blast for any option or enhancement that applies to the eldritch blast spell such as the warlock's eldritch invocations.

You hurls a spear of fire towards toward a creature within range. Make a ranged spell attack against the target within range that you can see. On a hit, the target takes 2d4 fire damage. If this spell rolls an attack roll of 19 or 20 it counts as a critical. This spell counts as eldritch blast for any option or enhancement that applies to the eldritch blast spell such as the warlock's eldritch invocations.

The Great Old One
Old One's Pulse - Enchantment cantrip - 1 action - range (120)

You create a spectral hand to siphon the life force from a creature to bolster yourself. Make a ranged spell against against the target within range that you can see. On a hit, the target creature takes 1d8 necrotic damage. If you hit a creature with this spell, that is not a construct or undead, you gain temporary hit points equal to your proficiency modifier until the start of your next turn. A bit late, but I like them. Was looking for alternative to use with my swarmkeeper. Undying flavors well for it.
