So I am attempting to create a Monk subclass that focus more on Strength than Dexterity, so I basically wanna make the Unarmored AC be 10 + STR Mod + WIS Mod. I am have trouble figuring out how to do both STR and WIS for the Unarmored AC while also removing DEX from it.
From a thematic approach if you're trying to make any iron body or sumo style monk I would do their AC calculation as 10 + CON mod + WIS mod. Using CON would represent shrugging off damage as opposed to DEX which feels more like dodging damage. I would also do CON because it feels less cheese and more balanced than putting defense on STR.
The barbarian's unarmored defense is a good example of this. (10 + DEX mod + CON mod)
