Sorry if the title is confusing, I have no clue how to word it.
Basically, it's a fantasy-style academy that offers various classes and extracurricular activities based around specific skills (such as an Arcana class, a Medicine class, an Athletics competition, a Persuasion/speech boot camp, etc.)
Ideally, finishing a semester or two of work in a specific class would give you a +1 bonus to the ability score associated with that class (e.g., you've finished the Arcana class and gain a +1 bonus to your Intelligence). However, the main problems I've run into with this are:
There are no Constitution-based skills, and thus no Constitution-based "classes" to be offered. My current workaround is to have the Athletics classes/activities have the option to boost either Strength OR Constitution, but I wonder if there's a better/different solution?
Branching off of the above workaround/solution, as well as the fact that having a class for every single skill would be an absolute burden, I'm thinking of combining certain skills and classes (such as an Acrobatics & Performance class). Which classes should I combine, though? Would Medicine go good with Religion? Survival and Nature sound good together, but so do Survival and Medicine...
Some skills (like Sleight of Hand, Intimidation, or Stealth) aren't exactly conventional classes (as opposed to something like History). How would I incorporate these, or would they just be part of some underground education?
