This Archetype is very heavily based on the UA BRUTE published by wizards found at this link. Unearthed Arcana Brute
This is my attempt to balance it a little more.
Soft Spot
Starting at 3rd level, you’re able to strike with your weapons with immense skill. When you hit a creature using a weapon that you’re proficient with, and the attack deals damage, the weapon’s damage is increased by your proficiency bonus.
Durability
Beginning at 7th level, your toughness allows you to shrug off assaults that would devastate others. You are now proficient in Dexterity, Strength, and Constitution saving throws. Also, you can now add your constitution modifier to death savings throws.
Additional Fighting
Style At 10th level, you can choose a second option from the Fighting Style feature.
Devastating Critical
Starting at 15th level, when you score a critical hit with a weapon attack, you gain a bonus to that weapon’s damage roll equal to your level in this class
Survivor
At 18th level, you attain the pinnacle of resilience in battle. At the start of each of your turns in combat, you regain hit points equal to 5 + your Constitution modifier (minimum of 1 hit point). You don’t gain this benefit if you have 0 hit points or if you have more than half of your hit point
Im looking for ideas and particularly balance issues
i believe soft spot should be a once per turn kind of deal, as it gives you a set increase to your damage every time you hit providing you with basically a divine smite on every successful hit.
the brute UA gives it a dice ... at level 20 its a 1d10 extra damage per hit ... i thought proficiency bonus (+6 at level 20) would nerf the UA brute... which i think is to strong...
i think its only a d10 because you need to get to level 20 as a mono fighter no multiclass while with this it just relies on proficiency bonus meaning any character can pump 3 levels of fighter and get the buff think of the monks who deal a minimum of 3 strikes per turn thats a lot of damage for 3 levels or even rangers volly and wirlwind attack
how about we make it a third of your fighters level instead of proficiency as it increases quite nicely and a few levels will have to be put into fighter to avoid the multiclassing shenanagans

i didnt even think about multi classing ... proficiency bonus is a good concept but i think it might need its own mechanic ...
This is my Second version .. re balanced once
