My most recent character is going Mystic Theurge and the main feat for this class is this.
-----
Spell Progression Even though the Mystic Theurge class has spell slots, it does not have any spells of its own. Instead, it continues the spellcasting progression of other classes that you have taken levels in. When determining the number of spells you can prepare for a spellcasting class, you treat your level as being your actual level in that spellcasting class plus your Mystic Theurge level. When determining the number of spells known (including cantrips) for a spellcasting class, you treat your level in the class as being your actual level plus your Mystic Theurge level. For example, if you were a 3rd-level Cleric, 4th-level Sorcerer, and 2nd-level Mystic Theurge, you would prepare Cleric spells as if you were a 5th-level Cleric, and you would know 4 Cleric cantrips. You would also know 5 Sorcerer cantrips and 7 Sorcerer spells of 1st-level or higher.

So I'm wondering if it's possible for me to homebrew this spell progression - I've so far started to do a sorcerer subclass and the spells options is a big doozy. Before I try to tinker anymore and I tried to read more about it but i'm stuck on the understanding of the "spells" aspect of feats or if anyone has any other ideas in how to do this through dndbeyond. I cannot function as a spellcaster without the ease of dndbeyond :( so any help/ideas would be appreciated
