As title suggests I'm looking for the best True Monster Manual Vampire homebrew feat or race that adds/alters only the areas of my dndbeyond character sheet that the book says it alters.
Basically I was playing as a dhampir blood hunter, something had happened and the "curse" was lifted thus causing my pc to become a human. Naturally being a human had its downsides especially given my pcs age and being a dhampir is all they ever knew.
The party had come across a vampire;unknown to all of us except my pc. So when we returned to them my pc ran off and asked to be turned back into a dhampir, but they turned my pc into a vampire instead.. as vampires tend to do lol.
My DM is very by the book in alot of ways and i exclusively use dndbeyond for character sheets. So I need a homebrew version of a "as by the book as possible" feat or race I can quickly add or edit to my pc so that all the proper functions work as intended.
I figure I'll have to swap my race to human first if it's a homebrew race since there are some dhampir specific issues that are now irrelevant on my character sheet ie. Spiderclimb and bite etc.
I'll also need help in figuring out what some methods to circumnavigate all the crappy parts to being a vampire, especially the dying in sunlight bit.. maybe a magic item? My character has some gold but I'm sure the DM can give me some leniency as the vampire my pc now serves is filthy rich and might just have some items or two up their sleeve to assist
