This is my first time making a homebrew race, and while the homebrew creator on the site helped I'm still not 100% sure about it. Any feedback will be helpful and I'm just hoping this isn't too unbalanced. The race I made, the Halfling-Goblin, is a mostly combination of the two races that the name says cause the homebrew options for this that I found didn't end up meeting my expectations for what I wanted. I'm not sure if I can post the race publicly or are capable of linking it in a post when it is private so I have just copied what I wrote to this post. Sorry if it is too long for a forum post.
Halfling-Goblins are a rare sight. Love is a hard thing to form with a goblin on it's own; so for one to gain the traits of a goblin and a halfling is even more so. Unfortunately this does not save them from the cruelty that other goblins face from the other races; yet their nature as a half-breed makes them unable to blend into goblin society. The only thing most Half-Goblins search for is a place to call home around others that will treat them fairly. Any form of kindness from a stranger brings them great joy, and befriending them makes a bond for life. Half-Goblins are willing to do anything for their home and the people they care about; they will go even further for those that they love.
Happily Strange
Halfling-Goblins take physical traits from both of their parents. They tend to stand at 3 feet tall and weigh roughly 45 ponds. Your size is small.
They vary greatly in terms of skin color. Some have pale skin or dark skin like that of the Halfling, others have the green, yellow and even orange skin of a Goblin, and their are even Halfling-Goblins that have a blend of the two with only patches of skin being like that of their goblin parent. The Halfling-Goblin's hair is anything from brown and wavy to curly red and even spiky silver seaming to have no specific commonality in color. Their eyes like there hair seams to have no rules as they can be yellow, red, black, brown and hazel. Just like the rest of them there facial hair clothing and general style varies from the mondain to the eccentric from greys and dull browns to bright reds and yellows to catch the eye.
Practical Joy
Halfling-Goblins are practical like there parents and everything they carry seams to have a purpose weather for every day comfort or to catch the light and there is no telling what they will have with them or why. Halfling-Goblins are obsessed with finding there place in the world and once they find it they will defend that position with every ounce of there little being defending the places they call home and the people that reside there. Halfling-Goblins only value wealth as a means to acquire and maintain relationships and often give things of great value to others for a small favor hoping to ingratiate them selves to others.
Living with Love
Halfling-Goblins most commonly tend to live in vary large cities blending into the large crowds or in seclusion away from prying eyes and harsh judgment. However they will happily live in any settlement which allows them to stay or spend the rest of their days traveling with the people they have grown attached to.

Languages
You can speak, read, and write Common, Goblin and Halfling. The Halfling language isn’t secret, but halflings are loath to share it with others. They write very little, so they don’t have a rich body of literature. Their oral tradition, however, is very strong. Almost all halflings speak Common to converse with the people in whose lands they dwell or through which they are traveling. Like Halflings, Goblins are not known for sharing there language and culture, only ever sharing these things with there children out of a sense of duty.
disengage, hide, frightened, charmed, poisoned boni plus luck etc... that's all just waaay to OP. Imho: Don't stuff everything you can find merging 2 into 1 homebrew race.
It's interesting but need some work over make it a more balanced thing.
here's some suggestions:
Nimble Lifestyle: This might be too powerful, so you could consider just allowing them to move through the space of any creature that is of a size larger than theirs. Furious Luck: This seems to be a more powerful version of the Halfling’s “Lucky” trait. To balance it, you could consider using the “Lucky” trait as it is. Clear Thoughts: To balance it, you could consider just giving them advantage against being frightened.
