I've homebrewed a minor boon for each character as a Feat, which I intend to grant them at around Level 3. They can earn this Feat by actively engaging with NPCs and/or making choices that advance their personal goals.
I'm hoping you'll take a look at them and let me know if any seem way too overpowered. These Feats are not all equal in power between themselves, but are in line with the players' desires and the characters' needs.
So You Want to be Conan: This Feat grants Expertise in the Athletics and Stealth skills.
Barding Intensifies!: This allows a Bard to choose to empower a use of Bardic Inspiration with an additional die. The additional die is one size smaller than their BI die. This can be used once, and resets on the same schedule as Bardic Inspiration.
Duos Are Just Solos Plus One: This allows another character to help a Bard with their Song of Rest feature. It grants an additional 1d4 to the Hit Points gained from SoR. This die is one size smaller than the standard SoR die, and upgrades on the same schedule.
Wild Surge Control - It's an Oxymoron: This allows a Wild Magic Sorcerer the ability to Spend Sorcery Points to affect rolls on the Wild Surge table. 1 Point to force a WS roll. 2 Points to grant a Re-roll on the WS table. 3 Points to Suppress the entire WS roll.
I haven't made the Feats public, which is why they aren't linked. But the descriptions give all the pertinent details.
Thanks in advance!
