thought i'd share this fun little item i made. ever met a kobold that wanted to fly? well this won't get them there but it'll get them one step closer to achieving their dreams! (or becoming a red stain on the wall)

• Kobold wings:
• At first, these appear to be nothing more than a small wooden box which can be worn like a backpack. However, upon pulling a string near the top of the box, the back face of the box splits open, unfolding into a set of wings made from wood and canvas
• While they do not provide any flight on their own, they allow their wearer to glide for a short distance
• If the wearer falls for more than 10ft, the wings will automatically deploy, slowing their descent. They can also be deployed as a reaction
• If airborne with the wings deployed, you gain a fly speed of 25ft, but descend 5ft for every 10ft of horizontal movement. You may also choose to descend without moving horizontally. You also descend 15ft every round, on initiative count 20, landing harmlessly upon reaching the ground 
• Can only be worn by creatures of small size, cannot support a creature of medium or larger weight
