A viscous, foul smelling acid, extracted from a green dragon and stored in a specially made enchanted glass decanter. those foolish enough to drink it have claimed it has little to no taste, and what taste it does have is likened to eating a raw frog.
This acid must be harvested from a dead or incapacitated green dragon. A creature subjected to this acid must succeed on a DC 18 Constitution saving throw or suffer 6d8 acid damage and have their ac reduced by 3. objects and structures automatically fail this check.
Contact. This acid can be smeared on an object and remains potent until it is touched or washed off. A creature that touches this acid with exposed skin suffers its effects.
Destructive. When applied to an object or surface, the acid will begin eating through the material. this acid cannot eat through adamantine or enchanted objects or surfaces.
Thrown. this item can be thrown to a point within 30ft, shattering the container and spreading the acid within a 5ft square of the landing point. acid used in this manner cannot be recovered. when a creature enters the area for the first time or ends its turn there, they suffer the above effects. if this item is used to target a creature directly, it is considered an improvised weapon attack.
DISCLAIMER: this item relies on the house rule that green dragons are acid based, rather than poison based. if you use this item in your campaign you may alter this as you see fit.
took a few tries to get the editor to cooperate, but i did it! this is an item from a small series of items i made based on harvested monster parts. hopefully this is a bit more appealing to look at than my previous posts. i'm trying to add a bit more polish to my posts lol
as usual, criticism is welcome and you're free to use this item in your campaign if you feel so inclined!
ah shoot, didn't realize the typos. it *is* an acid, not a poison. i apologize for the confusion and i'll try to fix it lol
i momentarily forgot that green dragons being acid based was a house rule of mine and not official. i can't really change this aspect as it's central to the item, but i'll add a disclaimer lol

I'm confused, is it acid or poison? They are very different things and green dragons are poison-based, black dragons are acid-based.
