But otherwise, you can always just use it to roll the dice and keep track of initiative, but keep track of the statistics of your homebrew yourself. There's also a way to create your own discord bots, so if you were willing to put some work into it you could create a bot specifically for your homebrew.
In general nearly all D&D Beyond homebrew works with Avrae automatically; if you create a homebrew magic weapon that deals extra lightning damage, it should roll the extra damage automatically when you attack with it (so long as it's equipped and attuned on your sheet).
Feats, races and sub-classes are all recognised in Avrae so long as you configure modifiers, actions and limited uses correctly; these should all just be picked up automatically. So if you add permanent advantage (nothing in the details field) Avrae should roll advantage automatically, if you add a bonus like +2 to Persuasion then it should add this when you do !check persuasion, your special actions should appear under !attack and you can use this to automatically mark off limited uses while rolling any configured damage etc.
The only things not supported at all are homebrew spells; to add support for these you need to go to avrae.io and under Dashboard -> Homebrew -> Spells you can create a "tome" with your custom spells. Best thing to do is use the Copy SRD Spell button to copy something as similar to your homebrew as possible, then you can fill in the details and use the Editor to customise the automation to match (this is a bit fiddly, which is why it's best to get something as close as possible). When you add the tome (using the !tome command) any homebrew spells on your character that have names matching spells in your tome should be recognised automatically, and any automation support on these will execute, allowing you to roll damage, show a save DC etc. same as for any official spell.
So yeah, I'm curious to know what isn't working with Avrae for you, as this will make it easier to advise on what you can do to improve support.
There is one caveat which is that Avrae can sometimes fail to pick up changes to your homebrew if you alter it, even after it has updated on your character sheet. In this case you may need to remove the character from Avrae then add it again using the !import command to force it to reload everything fresh, this should correct any missing or leftover actions and the like from previous versions of the homebrew. For example, I have a character that is using a homebrew Dragonborn race that combines all the chromatic/gem/metallic features into a collection of options (plus a few additions) to make a more customisable dragonborn, but I had to change how the breath weapons were handled, and this resulted in a character having a broken breath weapon listed as an attacks, and the functioning one was missing; removing and importing the character sorted that out.

I have unsubscribed from all topics and will not reply to messages. My homebrew is now 100% unsupported.
so it shows up under an !a list but not under !feat for like feats for example, right?
Yeah, there's no separate command for feats or such.
What I do is I tend to think of the !a/!attack command as "action" rather than "attack", because it essentially lists everything that appears under actions on your character sheet, including anything with limited uses. If an action is supported, and not a spell, then it should appear under that command, and you can use it to trigger any automation (mark off a limited use, roll any damage etc.).

Homebrew monsters don't show up on Avrae, as far as I can tell? Is there a special command other than /lookup monster to find them?
Unfortunately not; to use monsters with Avrae you currently need to re-create them on critterdb.com then load the bestiary onto Avrae, at which point you can then roll attacks etc. for them. I assume it's because there's no way for Avrae to load monster profiles from D&D Beyond directly?

The devs should 100% integrate Homebrew into Avrae.

Hi! Is there ever going to be a time where we can use our Homebrew creations with Avrae on DIscord?
Thanks.
This could go to the feedback forum: https://www.dndbeyond.com/forums/d-d-beyond-general/d-d-beyond-feedback

What exactly do you mean "use" in terms of Avrae?
