I have a homebrew item on my character that increases AC by 2. I put a modifier on that gives a bonus to AC with a fixed value of 2, but nothing's happening. Can someone hep me out please?

Are you sure the item has actually been equipped on the character sheet, and that if it requires attunement, it's also checked on the attunement tab?
