I’ve been experiencing some problems with the homebrew settings. I started to create my own homebrew subclass for a range, but found it really time consuming. I found a homebrew subclass created by someone else which I really like. I added it to my homebrew collection and try to add it to my character but it does not appear in the list. Yes I did activate homebrew in the character preference, yes I have the level required (I even tried it at higher levels) and yes I am at the master tier. My homebrew subclass (which is unfinished) does appeared but not the others adding from other players. Thank you in advance for your help.
thank you for the information, but i have a subscription to the master tiers. i've tried adding other homebrews to my collection, to my suprise half of them do appear in the homebrew section in the charator creation section

There are two versions of every class on D&D Beyond now: the 2014 version and the 2024 version. Each homebrew subclass is made for one or the other; you can't (currently) make a subclass that works with both. So, the issue may be that you've chosen one version of the class for your character, but the subclasses you're looking for were made for the other version.
oh! makes sense. if i look at the release date, the 2 that don't work were made in 2021 and the one that does work was created in 2024. thank you for the help!!!! i will relay the information to my friends

Sadly you need to be subscribed to DnD Beyond to access other peoples' publically shared homebrew: see this old thread
