Hey all, I have a player who is going to be playing the custom "Witch" class from the podcast "Worlds Beyond Number" with Brennan Lee Mulligan, Erika Ishaii, Lou Wilson, and Aabria Iyengar. I'm trying to map it onto the 2024 Wizard chassis but am running into several issues.
1. First and foremost it just isn't showing up. I tried to just add some of the witch exclusive spells that don't show up on the test character. When I just took one of the subclasses and only added the level 3, 6, 10, and 14 features, and the subclass doesn't show up.
2. I'm wanting to add additional level abilities from the witch class outside of the subclass features, but they aren't showing up.
3. Adding the appropriate spell lists are not showing up at all as options.
4. I can't publish the subclass because of the following listed: "
This Subclass cannot be shared with the community for the following reasons:
This homebrew Subclass has data mapped to it that is licensed content or private homebrew. This typically occurs when licensed or private homebrew spells are linked to the Subclass.
Coven of the Heart is currently too similar to Circle of Spores to share with the community.
This homebrew Subclass does not have the necessary class features with the correct required levels.
Remember, private homebrew is automatically shared with other users in your campaigns and does not need to be shared with the community for players to access.
DnD beyond does not currently have homebrew class support to my knowledge and all subclass features need to be at the correct levels. If you are missing some boxes with the default text still in it, it will say that it is too similar to circle of spores.

Just a goober doing my own work when I want to. I like the idea of not just high fantasy dnd.
You can reach me over discord as well, Handle is royalsupsi as well
I am open to work on joint homebrew projects, just DM me.
All my projects so far are in the extended signiture
I appreciate it, going in reverse, I used wizard as base class, then created the subclass from scratch. At the moment, I'm just trying to approximate the class via subclass, knowing that the class is not available to create whole cloth.
Currently there is a bug that is not allowing any HB that includes spells to be published, and any subclass that uses HB or non-SRD spells could never be published.
For getting the spells / spell lists working see the instructions pinned in this forum.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
