So I just watched a youtube video, (Can you forge Indium?), and it got me thinking what a dragon of this metal would be like.
First off, its super soft, softer than Lead and similar to Sodium, and also very malleable. The dude in the video made an indium knife and tried cutting paper. The paper was unharmed, and instead cut a groove in the knife. Indium can be dissolved in both acids and bases, while most substances go for one or the other. Its salts are generally toxic, but not easily absorbed, so its not good at being a poison either. All in all, its weak, easily damaged, easily manipulated, and generally bad at what its good at. Although, Indium compounds can make good Semiconductors in electronics. Maybe we have an upside there.
This is a metallic dragon, so nominally good, or at least neutral. I'm thinking its base defences should start out as AWEFUL. Breath weapon Could be a cone of sparkling lights that does electrical damage in the D4's. Claw and bite attacks, also rate in the D4's, and the dragon has to make a CON check on each such attack, or take the same damage themselves. Magic could be their upside, on the semiconductor front, giving them wide access to thunder and lightning spells.
Another thought occurred, what if the Indium dragons are near extinct, (easily) wiped out by Chromatics, and the only trace of them now exists in their Sorcerer humanoid bloodline.
Any thoughts and suggestions gladly accepted, could be a fun project.

AC 10(12 with Dex). HP 60. Speed 30, Fly 60. Str 12(+1), Dex 14(+2), Con 10, Int 10, Wis (10), Cha 16(+3) Saving throws : Standard Skills : Insight(PB), Medicine(PB), Survival(PB) Damage Immunities : Thunder and Lightning Damage Resistance : None Senses : Darkvision 90 foot Languages : Common, Draconic Proficiency Bonus 6
Actions One bite and 2 claw attacks. Each does 1D4+1 damage. Indrium must roll D20+6(PB) versus the targets AC, if the roll is lower, Indrium takes the same damage.
Sparkle Breath A 60 degree cone, 90 foot long of sparkling lights. This does 4D4 Lightning damage, Dex save for half.
Shape change. Indrium can transform into a humanoid form, usually that of a young adult human male. named Jeff.
Indrium is the last surviving member of his draconic species, the rest being easily wiped out by chromatic dragons. He (as Jeff) is generally good natured, as wanders about as a level 20 Sorcerer, in which case his abilities may be raised with an assortment of magical items and equipment (DM's discretion).
Indrium is aware that he is the last of his line, and although 'good', he is also somewhat scandalous in his relationships. Long ago he invented a prophesy about his bloodline saving the universe, and has since started believing his own hype, so he is now trying to have lots of children.
He is however, still a dragon. He maintains a thatched cottage with weak plaster walls as his lair, and hoards broken electronics as his hoard. Just as soon as he finds some.
