I'm making a homebrew cleric domain and have it all sorted out and working perfectly.... except for the channel divinity feature. It shows (no action) and just gives a generic description of Channel Divinity when you click on it in the character sheet. The correct information is displayed below it, as if it's a separate ability, and I'm not sure where I'm supposed to input the information to get it to display properly.
Any help would be appreciated.
Here's a snip of an example cleric using the homebrew domain so you can see what I'm talking about.
That's actually normal. If you play around with the Life Domain Cleric you'll see that it does the exact same thing. If you go to the "Action" tab on your character sheet, you find the descriptions of your Channel Divinity under the "Action" sub-tab (because they're actions to use them), but the boxes you have to check every time you use a Channel Divinity are actually in the "Other" sub-tab [and it's marked (Special)].
And for the (no Action) part I'm not entirely sure, but my guess would be that they wanted to specify that Channel Divinity, in general, isn't what takes up the action, but rather the specific Channel Divinity that you choose to use (which is why underneath it says Channel Divinity: Turn Undead: 1 Action)
Edit: Nevermind, I thought I was 3 years late replying to your post, but I'm dumb and was just looking at the wrong date lol
