My DM and I were working through a custom wizard focus for my character. One of the features is that I have a +2 for saves against spells. To be clear, this is not a +2 to my own spell save DC when I cast spells requiring a save.
I'm running into a problem of how to represent this on a homebrew item. When adding a modifier, I can select Bonus and set the value to 2, but in the Modifier Subtype, "against spells and other magical effects" is not a listed option. I took a look at the Spellguard Shield to see how it is handling it since it gives advantage on saving throws "against spells and other magical effects". It handles the modifier in the item description this way:
"While holding this Shield, you have Advantage on saving throws against spells and other magical effects, and spell attack rolls have Disadvantage against you."
If I can't add the bonus as a Modifier and Modifier Subtype, is there an equivalent text like the Spellguard Shield I can put in the description that would have "+2 bonus to saving throws against spells and other magical effects" display in Saving Throws on my character sheet?
Thanks in advance for any advice!

I don't know much about the homebrew tool, but I do know that D&D beyond can't know if the saving throw that gets rolled when you click the button is against a spell or not, so I think you just have to type that out in the description.
