Additionally, creatures that die within this area can’t be raised as undead except by a wish spell.
Aura of Dread.
When a hostile creature starts its turn within 120 feet of the War Idol or enters the area for the first time on a turn and can perceive it, the creature must succeed on a DC 16 Wisdom saving throw or become frightened for 10 minutes.
A frightened creature can repeat the saving throw at the end of each of its turns, ending the effect on itself on a success.

Hit: 25 (4d8 + 7) bludgeoning damage plus 9 (2d8) fire damage, and Huge or smaller creatures must succeed on a Strength saving throw or be knocked prone.
Meteoric Impact. Ranged Spell Attack: +11 to hit, range 150/600 ft., one target.
Hit: 29 (4d10 + 7) force damage, and Huge or smaller creatures must succeed on a Strength saving throw or be knocked prone.
Whether or not the attack hits, all creatures and objects within 30 feet of the target take 22 (4d10) fire damage, and flammable objects in the area ignite.

The War Idol invokes one of the following effects:
Totem of Death. Each creature of its choice within 60 feet whose current hit points are below half its maximum must succeed on a DC 16 Wisdom saving throw or die instantly. On a success, the creature instead takes 22 (4d8 + 4) necrotic damage.
Totem of Life. Each creature of its choice within 60 feet regains 22 (4d8 + 4) hit points. A creature that has died within the last minute can be restored to life with the same amount of hit points.
The War Idol can’t restore life to a creature that died of old age or replace missing body parts.
