A friend and I created a race for a new campaign. The sub-race specific ability scores, spells, and abilities all appear correctly in the character builder. However, when selecting a race in the character builder, the sub-races are listed alphabetically with all the other Parent races instead of in a drop down of the Parent race.
As an example, Elf is the Parent race and you select the sub-race, High Elf, Wood Elf, etc. in a drop down menu. I'd like to do that with my parent race as well.
The Homebrew collections page accurately displays the sub-races as having the correct Parent race. Did I miss something or is this not a feature yet?
This is not currently a feature. Homebrew races will not display under a parent race drop-down, but all separately, as currently intended by the system.
Back when this was first changed (parent race drop-downs) there were many threads like this, I believe I recall a moderator mentioning that this is intended, however may be revised when they update the homebrew system, which is currently "Planned" for development but not yet in development. Fingers crossed that this is part of the plan! :)

Thank you so much, I was having trouble finding said threads
