So my husband and I have been trying to create a revised, homebrew of Monk of the Four Elements. We wanted to make them a half caster like the arcane trickster. No matter what I do, I cannot get DnD Beyond to allow me to select 3 cantrips, only allows 2. I've tried adding another cantrip to learn onto the spell table, switching from blank caster level, half level and level but nothing changed. Like with a rogue, spellcasting starts at level 3 and it should be 3 cantrips and 3 1st level spells. There were no issues with the 1st level spells, mind you. If anyone has insight to this issue, I would greatly appreciate it.
Also, if someone could explain to me how to insert a spell table or creation table (for something else) without having to copy and paste a table from somewhere else, I'd appreciate it.
