I was trying to understand how the site implemented the warforged AC, and i couldn't seem to find it. So, I did the only thing feasible: I made a "copy of Warforged" with the Create a Race thingy, but it does not work properly. It does not add the proficiency to the bonus, because there are 4 terms in the AC calculations (at least in heavy plating), and it does not work. What is going on? Where is the "Add proficiency" option for AC?
For reference, I am trying to create a homebrew race that has the same AC bonus as the warforged, but different racial features. Ofc, I could make a subrace of the true warforged, but that doesn't solve all the problems.
P.S. I've figured that making it a variant and replacing all traits apart from the integrated protection one works, but still..? what is the magic here

For the AC calculation trait, there is a section called "additional bonus types" select proficiency bonus.
