So, long resting has an alternate rule in the dmg. Where they're 1 hour. And this is for superheroic campaigns.
I enjoy rules like this, but mostly because i enjoy watching my heroes use their abilities.
Usually i give inspiration in d6's. And there's no cap on how many one can earn from me. And they can be used on any sort of rolls. Players seem to love being rewarded for their risk taking. Especially if they grey to tip the odds in their favor for it to work.
Does anyone else play this way? Where the rules make things easier?
