Say the unthinkable happened and the Illithids were able to successfully embed a tadpole inside an Aboleth. What horrible creature would become of this mutation and what new powers would the creature possess? Would it become like the mindwitness and be a brainless slave or would it be more along the lines of a brain stealer dragon who could possibly rule the Mind Flayer colony?
They are a basic combination for the most part, but they have a little more health than an Aboleth, and the tentacles around their mouths can act as arms. They have more psionic powers than each would have separately, which makes it challenging, then extract brain. The thing that makes them the hardest would be the fact mind flayers live in groups, so they would try and gather together.
My signature has a link to monsters I've made if you would like to see it, although it is easy to combine the two.
Yep, that's the one I made, and it's fun to give more of a challenge than either one of the monsters, but keeping the element of the infamous strength they both have.

Here, have some homebrew classes! Subclasses to? Why not races. Feats, feats as well. I have a lot of magic items. Lastly I got monsters, fun, fun times.
Great! Would you mind sharing some of the ideas you came up with?

From a lore standpoint, this is a pretty interesting creature to me.
"Not all those who wander are lost"
Sounds fun.

Haven’t used this account in forever. Still a big fan of crawling claws.
