So I recently came up with the idea of making a higher level version of the hex spell, but instead of giving disadvantage on one ability check type for the duration; it allowed the bonus damage to be shared to allies. I'm unsure what level spell that this would be, or how long the duration should be. I'm also unsure if this should require a saving throw or not since the hex spell itself doesn't require either, but the bestow curse spell does. So this is what I currently have and let me know what ya'll think.
3rd level - Enchantment spell
Casting Time: 1 Bonus Action
Range: 90 feet
Components: V, S
Duration: 1 Round (Concentration)
You choose one target within range, and for 1 round attacks against the creature deal a bonus 1d6 necrotic damage. (of course I'm leaving out flavor text and the snippet of remove curse)
