I have an idea for a character who constantly has bad luck. She was cursed as a child to be extremely unfortunate, and her daily life is a constant battle to stay out of trouble. Lighting striking her, resembling a wanted outlaw, accidentally slaying a holy creature, that sorta thing. We're a very RP heavy group, so a character like this would be perfect for our extravagant party. 

The problem is, I can't think of positives that come with this trait. Maybe a bonus to constitution? Increased perception?? If you have any ideas for upsides to this curse, please lemme know 

Maybe she could have like... an aura of bad luck around her. Functionally, it would probably take the form of giving anyone in her aura disadvantage on skill checks and saving throws. This could make her extremely deadly with use of the right tactics, but has the hard downside of making the group extremely vulnerable in tight quarters or other situations where they have to stick together.
