So I am trying to replicate the Force Pikes from the LLoK module since they apparently are not items. Some homebrew versions have been made but they are not quite right. I would like to make a ranged weapon that only does force damage but that seems to not be possible, so I thought of making a spell that replicates the effect then putting it on a wand. This works for the most part, but the spell does not list an attack mod on the character sheet. I want it to be the users DEX + a modifier. Looking at a spell like Guiding Bolt I don't see a spot to note an attack attribute, I suppose because it just says in the text to use your spell attack.
On your character sheet, on actions, there should be a "Manage Custom" button on the top right. Click it, on "add new action", select weapon, it will create something called "Custom Action 1". Click it (on the sidebar, not on the character sheet), then Edit, and set things as you like. It would probably be:
Attack type: --
Range: Melee
Stat: Dex
Dice Count: 1
Die type: d10
Damage Type: force
Everything else you should be able to leave blank.

Any idea if this is possible?

Ah thanks, I'll find out which PC ends up with it and put it on their sheet.
