Im making a homebrew subclass for Barbarian and want to add a spell table for the various spells i want it to have. However when i go to the subclass trait that has spells and i click on the class feature that says " spells " and i go to add them, they dont show up on the subclass page at all.
When creating the subclass that has access to certain Spell Lists, you have to add a class feature to that subclass called Spellcasting. (exactly written like this. The tool will notice.)
Under the Description Box of the class you will find a dropdown menu called "Additional Spell List". There you can enter the name of a class and that list will be added. Depending on the kind of Spellcaster you can then choose between "-" "half level" and "level". "-" basically means 1/3rd caster.
Underneath that you will find a box labeled Additional Specific Spells in which you can enter... well, all specific spells you want the class to have.
If you keep playing around you can create different class feats that allow you to add spells on certain levels, if you want to go that far. Might be a shameless plug, but after dedicating a few hours of trial and error I created this subclass
If you add it to your collection you can then use it to base a rogue subclass on the technique used here. You wanted a Barbarian, however the way this works is exactly the same. I hope this helps.
EDIT: If you are only interested in adding certain spells at certain levels, you can create a feat that allows you to do so. Have a look at the Level 9 feat, that should help. It takes a while to understand the tool, I still struggle a bit and think it could have better flow, but indeed does work.

It depends on what you want to do.
