It is a Thallid from Magic the Gathering. For those of you who don't know a thallid is a fungus person, and I'll enclose a picture. It's a really weird race but I hope I didn't make it to overpowered. For those of you who might think fungalsense is overpowered, just remember it can't see beyond the radius. I'm mainly concerned about the Saproling Summoner trait, I think it might be to overpowered. I would appreciate any critique about it!
Thank you in advance!
Thallid
Ability Score Improvement. Your Constitution score increases by 2, and 1 other ability score of your choice increases by 1.
Age. It is unknown how old Thallids may live, but in the rich plane of Velderyn Thallids are reaching adulthood within a couple weeks and are only just starting to begin walking.
Alignment. Thallids are still new to the world, and don’t have any real alignments.
Size. Thallids can be almost any size from 4 feet tall to 8, and can weigh between 40 pounds to 400 pounds.
Speed. Your base walking speed is 30.
Fungal Sense. You gain fungalsense* in a 120 feet radius around you. You are blind beyond this radius.
Fungal Speech. You have no mouth, instead you can communicate any language you know, as well as images and emotions, with any living thing within the radius of your fungalsense. Only creatures with the Plant or Fungus type can respond.
Saproling Summoner. Every long rest, you spawn 1d8 saprolings. Saprolings have the fungus or plant (you choose) creature type. As a bonus action, you can sacrifice a saproling. Whenever you sacrifice a saproling, you regain 1d4 health and deal 1d4 poison damage to a creature within the radius of your fungalsense. If you are knocked unconscious and unstable, every turn at the beginning of your turn, a saproling will sacrifice itself to give you advantage on your next death saving throw. If you are unconscious but stable, you can still sacrifice a saproling as a bonus action. Saprolings don’t live longer than 24 hours, and can be eaten once dead. At 4th level, healing or damage die created by sacrificing a saproling increases to 1d6, at 9th level it increases to 1d8, at 14th level it increases to 1d10, and at 19th level it increases to 1d12.
Fungus. You gain the Fungus creature type.

*Fungalsense: You can detect anything touching the ground in the radius of this sense. You can sense an object’s exact shape, size, and weight. You can discern color.
