Im playing a Rogue lv 3 in a hombrew game and the DM said i need to start working a back story in if i want to multiclass. I was like ok good to know so ive been thinking how do i get a Rogue to turn into a Warlock? I want to go Goo Lock and having a hard time finding good info on them. I play my Rogue as a Info Broker type. Do you have any good ideas to getting him a way in?
They couldn't find any information on a certain enemy, so sat alone in a library/study wanting to know. Suddenly, a book falls off the shelf. They walk over an open it to suddenly find it opens. It lands on a page with strange incantations and symbols on. And a picture of a creature. A strange creature. The rogue says the incanation aloud, and suddenly they feel suffused with power. Then the feeling goes. They walk out the library, and think to themselves: What was that?. Then, the librarian replies. It was me giving you power. They could speak telepathically! The librarian and rogue learned how the rogue could channel the power of the librarian, who in his true form was the creature in the book.
There you go.
