Fairy tale kingdoms are havens for humans and creatures of all kinds. A bear is as likely to own a shop as any human, elf or fairy. These animals are much like their common counterpart with a few exceptions. They are much more intelligent, often the same intelligence as a human. This in turn allows the animal the ability to speak. Lastely Awakened animals gain the use of an opposable thumb, regardless of their normal feet. This means that an awakened rat can use a sword with much the same proficiency as a halfling.
Age: as an animal you age much quicker than a human, although longer than most common animals. You come to maturity around 1 year, and can live to half a century. Although, this may change depending on your exact species.
Alignment: most awakened animals tend toward neutrality, following their animalistic nature.
Size: your size is either medium or small, depending on the species of animal.
Speed: your speed is 30 feet.
Darkvision: you have darkvision to a range of 30 feet.
Keen smell: Awakened animals have advantage on wisdom (perception) checks that rely on smell.
Predator: you are a bear, wolf or other large predator. Large and imposing, you often rely on your strength to survive. Although most predators within Seraliese are tame, they are known to be strong and powerful.
Ability score increase: your strength increases by 2 and your constitution increases by 1.
Natural weapons: your unarmed damaged is 1d6 plus your strength modifier instead of your normal unarmed damage. This can come in a form of a bite, claw or talon.
Rodent
Ability score increase: your dexterity increases by 2 and your wisdom increases by 1
Digging claws: You gain a burrow speed of 10 feet. You leave an open hole where you dig, possibly allowing others to follow you.
Hoofed: deer, boar and other hoofed creatures are common in the land.
Ability score increase: your constitution increases by 2 and your dexterity increases by 1
Swift: your speed increases by 10 feet
