I'm recreating the Aberrant Mind Sorcerer from the UA, but I'm having trouble getting the Psionic Spells to auto-prepare when I pick the sorcerous origin at 1st level. For example, I should see dissonant whispers as something that is always prepared, but it doesn't seem to be.

Abberant mind is no longer on DDB. You will need to buy the PHB, as dissonant whispers is part of that, not the basic rules.

Perhaps, I didn't explain right. I have all of the content on DDB. What I'm trying to do is mimic the domain spell concept from a Cleric for the Aberrant Mind Sorcerer homebrew that I'm making, which is based on the previous UA. However, even after programming in the list of Psionic Spells, I can't get them to register as 'Always Prepared' in the character builder or the character sheet.
It would not be prepared. It would be spells known, as that is how sorcerers work. You would need to give the spell, then tick known, then doesn't count against number of spells known.
