One of the home-brew campaigns I'm working with has a race with innate spell casting, and we decided that we can use said spells at the cost of health, rather than spell slots. How would we go about applying that in the sub-race setup?
I don't think we can do this. It may have to be text, and then they just remove the amount needed on the character sheet.
