The Wombat’s Hide
Wondrous Item, Legendary, (Requires Attunement)
Breastplate armour - AC 14 + Dex
This breastplate armour is covered in the nicks and scratches of a thousand wars. A shaggy brown and black mane covers the neck, back and shoulders. It was worn by heroes like Dosen Bristlebrush and Mars Opreal, legendary protectors of the natural world.
Dormant. While wearing the armour in its dormant state, you gain the following benefits:
The armour grants you a +1 bonus to AC.
You can cast the Primal Savagery cantrip at will.
You can cast Commune with Nature once per long rest.
You can cast the Guardian of Nature spell once per long rest.
Awakened. When the armour reaches an awakened state, it gains the following properties:
The AC bonus of the armour increases to +2.
You can cast Aura of Life once per long rest.
You can cast Wrath of Nature once per long rest.
When you cast Guardian of Nature, your melee weapon attacks do 2d6 force damage on a hit.
Exalted. When the armour reaches an exalted state, it gains the following properties:
The AC bonus of the armour increases to +3.
When you cast Guardian of Nature, your melee weapon attacks do 3d6 force damage on a hit.
You can cast Animal Shapes once per long rest.
