Unfortunately I don't think that this is currently possible using homebrew modifiers.
You can of course put whatever you want in the description of your item, but players will need to customise their cantrips manually to add the bonus.

Former D&D Beyond Customer of six years: With the axing of piecemeal purchasing, lack of meaningful development, and toxic moderation the site isn't worth paying for anymore. I remain a free user only until my groups are done migrating from DDB, and if necessary D&D, after which I'm done. There are better systems owned by better companies out there.

I'm trying to make an item that adds a bonus modifier of +1 to spell attack rolls and spell save DC, but only for cantrips.
Any tip on how I should proceed? The only modifier type I've found adds the bonuses to all spells...
