Thoughts on this race? (Below is a "skeleton" or "bare bones" version of the race. So mostly mechanics since I am just trying to make sure this is balance and has roleplaying potential, also that it is unique compared to other races and brings something new to the table.)
This race stores up energy within their bodies in which they can attempt to release in order to transform into a larger form which is beyond the peak of their physical potential.
ASI: +2 CHA
Speed: 25
Size: Small
(Transformation Trait): As a bonus action during your turn, you can attempt to release the energy stored in your small form by performing a Constitution saving throw against a DC 10. If successful, increase your maximum and current Strength, Dexterity, and Constitution ability scores each by +2 for the next 1 minute. Additionally for the next 1 minute if successful, you also gain +10 to your speed and your size is now medium for the duration. After the 1 minute duration has ended, you gain 1 level of exhaustion. If you fail the save, you are stunned until your next turn. Each time you use this feature after the first, the DC increases by 5 with a maximum DC of 20. When you finish a long rest, the DC resets to 10.
(Rest Trait): When you finish a long rest, make a Constitution saving throw against a DC 10. If successful, you can remove an additional level of exhaustion.
