Outright replacing the cleric spell list with the druid spell list for the nature cleric, in order to make a quick and dirty shaman class. From what I can see there aren't any horrible interactions, and it would allow a nice natural caster without the burden of wildshape.
Lots of people want to play a primal caster without the wildshape baggage. The base class has multiple abilities based around the wildshape, so you can't escape it even picking another subclass. Nature cleric has a lot more interesting abilities which are nature themed, but the cleric spell list doesn't suit as well as a druid one.
Prior editions had a shaman which was basically cleric with druid spell list.

Just wondering how the balanced on this would be.

I don't have an answer for you, but I think I have a good question ...
Why not just make a druid?
