I would like to read your opinions, but before that I'll explain a few things that I know people will ask. I will still like to know your opinions on these matters, but here are mine:
First, why the Sorcerer? Well, first, the class would obviously have to be a caster. Now, the Cleric already has a healing focused class, and the Cleric who is a worker of the gods doesn't really fit the theme of the crazy doctor. What about Druid? Again, the theme doesn't really fit well. Warlock? Was an interesting idea, but there are too few spell slots for this to work well. Now, Wizard or Sorcerer? It would seem like Wizard is more fitting, after all, I even altered the Sorcerer spellcasting ability to Intelligence, but a Wizard is supposed to be very versatile. Besides, if a player really wants to copy the TF2 Medic, the healing should have some range, for which the Distant Spell Metamagic fits well.
Why is the only healing spell Cure Wounds? Well, to be completely honest, because I was too lazy to add more spells. Also, I don't have much experience with healing classes so I don't know if what the subclass currently has is enough or not, or maybe even too much. Which is also why I'm publishing here on the forum for feedback. Maybe I should add other healing spells, I don't know.
Is the Madness really necessary? Shory answer - no. Long answer - I added it because, in the end, I am imitating a crazy doctor. Anyone who wishes can ignore this part of course as it only really changes the roleplaying aspect. I might even delete it in the future but for now, I chose to include it anyhow.
Notes:
Before I present the actual subclass, here are my goals for this subclass:
So, let's got to it. Here's the subclass.
