I apologize if this has been answered before, but I was unable to find a thread that answers this question.
I am working on a homebrew magic item that grants a few spells and uses the Charisma stat for casting. I cannot for the life of me find any way to force those spells to use the Charisma stat instead of using the base casting stat for the character (e.g. Intelligence on an Artificer). I'm probably overlooking something simple, but I have tried creating homebrew versions of the spells looking for the options as well as combing through the options within the magic item itself.
Am I missing something, or is this just not supported at this time? Thanks in advance for your help!
