I need to work on the fluff still, but mechanics below.
Some comments I've had already which I'd appreciate feedback on are:
-is the bonus spell list too strong?
-is the 6th level ability open to abuse?
-does the 17th level ability need strengthening?
TIA
Bonus spells
1st level: Bane, Hellish Rebuke
3rd level: Bestow Curse, Blindness/Deafness
5th level: Dispel Magic, Hold Person
7th level: Guardian of Faith, Locate Creature
9th level: Insect Plague, Scrying
1st Level Features
Bonus Proficiencies: Heavy Armour and Martial Weapons
Inspire Vengeance
At 1st level, you can inspire vengeance in your allies. Whenever an ally that you can see and can hear you is hit with a successful attack, you can use your reaction to allow that ally to use their reaction to make a single weapon attack against the creature that attacked it.
You can use this feature a number of times equal to your Wisdom modifier (a minimum of once). You regain all expended uses when you finish a long rest.
2nd Level Feature: Target of Vengeance
Starting at 2nd level, you can use your Channel Divinity to gain insight into a target of your vengeance.
For the next hour, you gain advantage on any insight, investigation, perception or survival checks to learn information about your target.
The target must be a creature that has wronged yourself or an ally in the past
You can only have one Target of Vengeance active at a time. If a new Target is selected, the previous ceases to be a Target
6th level feature: Instrument of Vengeance
At 6th level, you become an instrument of vengeance.
If you make a spell or weapon attack against your target of vengeance that would normally take an action, you can use your channel divinity to reduce the required time to 1 bonus action.
8th level feature: Vengeful Strike
At 8th level, you gain the ability to infuse your weapon strikes with vengeful energy. Once on each of your turns when you hit a creature with a weapon attack, you can cause the attack to deal an extra 1d8 psychic damage to the target. When you reach 14th level, the extra damage increases to 2d8.
17th level feature: Implacable Vengeance
At 17th level, you gain +2AC and +2 on saves vs attacks from your Target of Vengeance
