Shield Of Vigilance will be a homebrew campaign where players will take on the roll of students to the Vigil Academy, where they will engage in monster hunting, investigations and law enforcement while trying to survive a rigorous class schedule, unusual teachers and grueling exams.
Aiming to replicate the feel of the Persona series, the My Hero Academy manga/anime, and the ‘Trails Of ’ series, this game will be focused on a main plot but also on the players involvement in the school and their social life and adventures there. ------ The letter is the length and width of your hand made of blue card in a blue envelope with each corner embossed with gold, printed on the envelope in gold is the word ‘To:’ and written in black ink in perfect cursive is your name. Before you open it you already know what it contains, an acceptance letter to the Vigil Academy.
Centuries ago, a group of heroes rose to slay the wayward god Eacharon and twelve survived and partook of its flesh gaining the power of the god itself. They took the tumultuous world and brought about peace but with that peace came the question of where their duty to humanity would lay. Unanimously they decided that they could not be above humanity and instead formed the Vigilants, an organization designed to bring about law and safety beyond the rule of man or god.
The Vigilants grew and built the Vigil Academy as a place to gather the best and brightest, offering them a chance to join the prestigious organization. -----

What I Want: I’m looking for invested players ready to make and stick by a fun character concept. Willing to deal with a split of combat and roleplay with a slight roleplay focus. And consistency, show or let me know that you won’t because I can always make a plan! Otherwise just be a good human, I try to be as inclusive as I can be and expect players to respect that.
**Some other tags:** We are LGBTQ+ Friendly, I love New Players, and I can work around any Triggers! And simply because I don’t babysit, 18+ Only.
Hello! Your story sounds super interesting, and I was hoping you have a spot open. I've played a few different tabletop RPGs, but I've never done one that was text based before. I'm LGBTQ+ and I've been told I'm at least a decent human being haha Monday-Friday American evenings are pretty much the only time I'm free. Oh and I'm 28 so well over the 18+ requirement. Please let me know if you have any questions!
