Game: D&D 5e Group preferred: Discord Play-By-Post Experience: Veteran (playing for about 10 years, DMing for 3) Location/Timezone: EST Availability: Available throughout the day for PBP Preferred role: Player Game style: I like literally everything about DnD, ranging from combat to roleplay to exploration to fun party shenanigans, so I can fit into any kind of game, whether it's a wargamey combat-focused campaign or a roleplay-filled tale of political intrigue. However, I've been doing text-based roleplay for about ten years now and while I don't mind a "short-form" style (I actually quite dislike long-form roleplay; you don't exactly need six paragraphs for every post especially when other people are involved in the interaction), I'd prefer a semi-serious environment where people stay in-character in the game channels, don't mess around too much / clutter the game channel itself with OOC chatter, etc.
I don't particularly have any preference for homebrew worlds versus official modules, or for any race/class restrictions as I've got a lot of character ideas (even some that are PHB-only). However the one thing I really, really don't like is rolling for stats. So that's gonna be a no from me. But anything other than that I'm down to clown.
At the end of the day, I'm just a forever DM trying to finally be a player again, in a play-by-post game (as I don't really have multiple contiguous hours to set aside for a live game, but I'm on Discord like all day). Hoping to hear back from some of y'all!
