Hello people I'm looking for two players for a long term city adventure. I'm looking for are committed players that enjoy all pillars of play from roleplay to combat. The game is gonna be following two people who try to make it in one of the largest cities in the circle of the world. The details will be decided once players have been chosen, but the general ideas is a game focused on the city guard called the redcoats in a world where the industrial revolution is about to kick off, with the players being part of an investigative branch chasing down criminals ranging scam artists to serial killers. The game will be very character focused with heavy emphasis on choice and building a narrative with the characters at the center of the action, backstories and all. We will start in a homebrew setting I have been running for quite a while and the adventures you embark on lets us build the world further.

You will start at 1st level and stats will be generated with either standard array or 27 pointbuy and we will do a small introductory mission with fast track to level 3. Races and classes from official material with tasha's variant features up for discussion. Homebrew and UA can also be discussed although most of the time not approved as I do not need the extra work on my plate trying to make them work.

I encourage newer players to apply for the game as this is a good learning experience and will be more forgiving as there are less people in the game so learning rules or spells doesn't slow down the game as much as it would with a party of four or more. The game will be played weekly on tuesday at 16:00 GMT+0 over discord and using roll20 for VTT with the first session scheduled for 16.3.2021 and session length between three to five hours. I will go through applications and select players during the weeks running up to session zero with short interviews for those who get through the applications.
