We're a group of dads in our 30s who have tried D&D once in an in person session with a professional DM and had a blast. We went off the reservation a few times and treated it more like an improv session. We'd like to try a private, longer, pre-made campaign once we find a great DM that likes playing with us. I'm a long time DM (I've been in and out of the hobby for over 40 years).  I like your group description, and have developed a new campaign set in my own game world.  The flavor leans into the horror end of fantasy.  Think of the original Robert E. Howard Conan stories with elements from various mythologies as a baseline .  I enjoy trying to create a good balance between role-playing, puzzle-solving, and action. 

The world and campaign are original works of mine, and I've been running a group of friends in that setting for almost 3 years.  Another group member is wanting to DM for a while, and I'm looking forward to the opportunity to play, but I also want to keep my hand in at DM-ing, so I find myself looking for a group.

If your group likes the flavor of the campaign, I would be happy to start an ongoing game meeting once or twice a month, as your time allows.  I work a standard 9-5 job, so I would be available evenings and weekends (weekends would be preferable).

If you'd like to get together via video and discuss the details of the campaign to see if you're interested, let me know.  I'm perfectly willing to do character generation and set-up plus at least one session with no standing commitment or money.  If the setting or style isn't what you're looking for, no worries at all.  

I prefer playing using D&D Beyond, Roll 20 VTT, and Zoom, but am somewhat flexible.
