Out of practice player looking to return to the game. - Cleveland OH area

Game: D&D 5e
Group preferred: Online / Face-to-face / either
Experience: I am a Veteran player/DM but been idle for several years and looking to return as a player.  I have my own die but all my materials have been lost over the years.  I will be reinvesting in Manuals and such as I get back involved with a group.
Location/Timezone: Cleveland, Ohio (West Side)
Availability: I am open.  I recently retired due to injury so I have time on my hands.
Preferred role: Player
Game style: I enjoy the game and the story the DM and group create as the quest unfolds.  I like to role play and interact with my fellow characters.  I can sometime get carried away but I never let it interfere with my respect and relationship with other players.  I generally play tanks (love the Paladin or Knight).  I used to know all the magics and items but it has been a long time.
