I represent a group of friends who are looking to go on our first D&D 5e Homebrew experience together and are looking for an experienced and passionate GM to form a long sized campaign for us and guide us through an enjoyable and immersive adventure. Unfortunately our last GM ended up having to drop out due to personal life things before we could get properly started so we already pre-made our characters to an extent and some of which do use homebrew races and classes for added personalisation, we can obviosuly tweak backstories to fit your campaign.
Some of us will be new to D&D so we require a GM who is patient and newbie friendly who can help explain things to the newer players. We also wish to feel part of the world that is created and most will probably like to RP their characters and not feel too restricted.
What we would from a GM is:
- Narrative GM
- Likes to roleplay
- Likes to build big worlds and work with players.
- Minimum 1.5 years GM'ing experience.
- Experience in other tabletops
- Some Homebrew experience
- Willing to be patient and explain things to new players
- Can play on a flexible EU timescale as we are all from Europe
- We would like to have a session on Fridays from 5:30pm BST (time can be tweaked).
- Good quality mic and willingness to join Discord
- Mature as we are all over 20
What we can offer you:
- A fun and willing group who are willing to try out anything (as long as it isn't immersion breaking)
- An RP experience with some good laughs as we all become our characters.
- The satisfaction of guiding some newer players through their first experience.
- A chill place to hang out and maybe some new friends.
If anyone is interested please respond to this or send a direct message with a bit about yourself and your experiences as a GM and why you would be a good fit for guiding our group. We will then like to have a chat with you and see if you are a good fit.
We look forward to reading through any responses we receive. Thank you!
Hi there -- for sure interested and I love helping noobies. I do have a few questions though:
Day preference? I'm in NA, so at your 5:30p timeframe, it would need to be Saturday because that's noon for me.
Free or paid? I'm a pro DM, and do it for a job. Typically, I run module games for ~$20 per person, and I think you're looking for a homebrew and not module, is that right?
